Love conquers all.

Faith vs. Fear. In this life of walking by faith, we need to be aware that a simple shift in our focus can be the difference between walking in faith or falling prey to fear. I love the way 1 Peter 5:7 reads in the Amplified Bible: “Casting the whole of your care, all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.” God does not expect us to trust Him without He doing His part.

Now that may sound a little weird, but whenever God gives us a directive, He does so fully prepared to back it up with His power. Why? Because God is love. Take this to heart: while God does possess love for His children…
HE IS LOVE. 1 John 4:8 and 16 tells us as much. This is why 1 Cor 13:8 boldly states: “Love NEVER fails.”
Being Love, God Himself never fails.

So where does the failure squeak it’s way in? Through fear. But fear of what? At it’s core, I believe it’s that we forget just how much God loves us. However, when we keep in mind that God IS love, it will drive out every ounce of fear. Regardless of what you may be facing…
financial, health, relationship, etc., Run to God’s love.

I believe the revelation of God’s love, i.e., His essence, is the key to destroying fear and unlocking faith. No matter what we are facing, no matter the challenge or difficulty, and especially no matter what blessings you are believing Him for: the foundation is His love for us. After all, it’s why He came and died.

Stand strong in love and fear cannot remain.
